Responsibilities: • Patching Subject Matter Expert for Windows Server OS that includes: o security patching o updates o firmware • Development of a scalable, enterprise patching solution and processes to ensure compliance with enterprise security requirements and industry best practices • Design, develop and implement infrastructure and automation solutions • Automate and orchestrate delivery of infrastructure solutions built within Equifaxs datacenters • Contribute code to multiple automation projects • Utilize engineering and programming skills focused on enabling a DevOps model • Streamline deployment of infrastructure into consumable services • Provide input on the future implementation of infrastructure with a strong emphasis on automation, security, scalability and resiliency Qualifications and Experience: • Enterprise level experience in security patch lifecycle and management. • Superior problem solving and troubleshooting skills at the System Engineer level; exceptional customer service, overall communication and technical writing skills. • Must have sufficient technical depth to communicate with development and other internal organizations at a peer level; • Must possess the ability to work independently with minimal management supervision; • Ability to enhance the technical expertise of peers via the development of product training and team content development; • Ability to apply technology to improve existing products and systems; • Ability to actively participate in team support by proposing and implementing solutions; Technical Requirements: • Candidate must possess working knowledge of and demonstrated technical proficiency in: o Windows Server and Microsoft Client Products o Active Directory o Hyper-V Hypervisor and Failover Clustering o VMM 2012+ o SCCM 2012+ o WSUS o Windows Server Cluster Aware Updating • Solid understanding and use of PowerShell • Solid understanding of client/server, networking, and Internet technologies fundamentals • Five or more years industry experience with Microsoft products, effective learning skills, works well in a team environment, Strong problem-solving skills Education: • College degree, preferably in Computer Science, is required • MCSE strongly preferred • Will consider related field (or equivalent) experience. Install, configure, update and maintain operating systems, corresponding software, and datacenter servers for large location/BU. Proactively monitor capacity of environments to predict future storage, memory, or processor shotfalls. Supervise and/or perform efficient and timely preventive and corrective maintenance of servers. Identify project resources and scheduling. Provide Level 3 diagnosis/troubleshooting to resolve incidents. Back up servers and maintain daily records of the backups.
