Candidates must have a very strong background in desktop deployment technologies Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager 2012 (SCCM) and System Center Operations Manager 2012 (SCOM) and possess detailed working knowledge as deployed in a mission-critical, multi-site enterprise environment. Responsibilities: The Sr SCCM/SCOM Engineer will design, configure, administration, build, and support of the SCCM/SCOM environments; Design and implement business applications/packages into SCCM application framework; Assist desktop engineering with SCCM Windows desktop OS deployment and automated build processes including performance tuning; Provide extensive troubleshooting in installation and configuration of SCCM/SCOM; Design and implement Microsoft patching strategy for windows desktops; Design and implement extensive monitoring strategy and alerts in SCOM; Develop partnerships with key support, architecture, and engineering teams; Design, implement and configure business profile management approach; Produce basic project plans, root cause analysis documents and report on progress to management; Diagnose SCCM desktop deployment issues and perform root cause analyses; Assisting the conversion of existing automated deployment tools and processes into SCCM; Participate in after-hours on-call rotation to provide support for SCCM/SCOM. Qualifications: * Minimum 5 years hands on experience with SCCM/SCOM engineering REQUIRED * 5 years hands on experience supporting desktops deployment processes in a multi segmented, routed and firewalled enterprise network REQUIRED * Minimum 5 years hands on experience with designing, configuring, and supporting SCOM environment in a large enterprise REQUIRED * Minimum 3 years scripting skills (Powershell, WSH, Batch, etc.) REQUIRED * Familiarity and understanding of Active Directory and Windows GPOs   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
