Job Description : Title: Systems/SCCM Administrator Duration: 6 month Contract Location: Milpitas, CA Project Summary: Enterprise Vulnerability Management: The Goal of this project is to identify the windows servers and clients in a network with security vulnerabilities, apply the patches OS patching: Apply OS patches and upgrades on a periodic basis and upgrade administrative tools and utilities. Configure / add new services as vital to the health and hygiene of the infrastructure. This individual will be accountable to work on the tasks from the above projects. Top 3 Daily responsibilities: Identify vulnerable and legacy systems in the network, create a patch schedule for such machines and apply the necessary patches. Apply the patches using SCCM Investigate and trouble-shoot the issues arising on non-compliant machines. Additional Responsibilities: Work with project team on various project tasks. Perform daily SCCM infrastructure and client health monitoring and repair issues for the vulnerable machines Create reports using SQL or SSRS Write WQL queries and create collections using queries Providing technical guidance to SCCM team and system owners Verify the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems and key processes, reviewing system and application logs, and verifying completion of key jobs. Contribute to and maintain system standards and build process to provide support to the End of Life Hardware systems. Research and recommend innovative, and where possible automated approaches for system administration tasks. Identify approaches that use our resources and provide economies of scale. Make sure that all the systems are part of virus scanner solution and get regular update from virus scanner server. Maintain operational, configuration, inventory or other procedures. Apply OS patches and upgrades on a periodic basis and upgrade administrative tools and utilities. Configure / add new services as vital to the health and hygiene of the infrastructure. Perform periodic performance reporting in order to support future planning. Position requires communicating with different functional groups like Engineering, IT and Vendors. This person deals with a variety of problems. The questions/issues are typically clear and require determination of which answer (from a few choices) is the best Creating and updating technical documentation as required Evaluate emerging technologies (on-premise and cloud-hosted) - providing recommendations around SCCM vs. Intune and/or hybrid implementations or other endpoint management tools Requirements (these are the must-have skills, experience, and qualification): 5-7 years experience on SCCM 2007 and SCCM 2012 Strong understanding of SCCM with advanced knowledge of application deployment, patch management, operating system deployment, client and server maintenance, troubleshooting, and reporting Windows OS - Windows XP/7/10, Windows server 2003/2008/2012/2016/2019 etc. Experience in installing new and rebuild existing servers and configure hardware, peripherals and services Install and configure systems infrastructures for Engineering Tool Developments and corporate IT infrastructure Knowledge on AD, DFS, DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP Networking, VPN, imaging Technologies like Acronis Experience creating advertisements, collections, packages, applications within SCCM Proven analytical and problem-solving skills Take direction from the pro   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
