Manage system administrators and engineers in accordance with the vision and strategy of SDM. Responsible for ensuring that team members are contributing to operational needs of the organization as well as delivering in projects as assigned. Performs resource management and reviews of team members. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Package, Test, and evaluate software and applications for workstation distribution via SCCM. • Patch Management – Patching knowledge on workstation deployments and patch failure remediation • Strong Knowledge on OSD deployments (Task Sequence creation), adding driver packages and troubleshooting task sequence failures • Research, diagnose and resolve production problems such as defects, questionable functions, errors, and inconsistencies in systems functions, outputs, and content. • Perform upgrades / maintenance activities as well as troubleshoot system issues. • Perform computer management and system administration activities. • Execute plan for increasing overall desktop platform optimization and standardization. • Provides weekly status updates& estimates of all priority and non-priority projects along with recommended scope or schedule changes based on capacity and unforeseen challenges. • Create and deploy scripts to automate tasks (if required) • Knowledge on Microsoft Intune and Auto-Pilot • Mentor and train other team members as required. ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Creating packages and collections • Deploying packages to collections • Remediation of Security Scans for computers • Optimize current environment where applicable QUALIFICATIONS: • 2-3 years of SCCM knowledge around software deployments and reporting. Must be able to create application packages, troubleshoot the software package and client components. • Knowledge and/or prior experience with standard software packaging and patch deployment methodologies. • Support experience with in-depth knowledge of desktop/application troubleshooting. • Strong knowledge of the Windows Operating System. • Must be customer focused and ready to provide exceptional service to business stakeholders. • Good/practical technical judgment and troubleshooting skills. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Organizational and multi-tasking skills with the ability to effectively prioritize tasks in a high-pressure and fast-paced environment. • Must be highly motivated with proven ability and relentless drive to complete tasks and meet deadlines. • Excellent organization and time management skills and ability to identify priorities to accomplish a variety of tasks simultaneously. • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment. • Ability to conduct research into technology issues and products as required.   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
