RESPONSIBILITIES: * Work with product teams and the systems architects to help them understand performance bottlenecks in applications * Create/Implement management packs & object groups * Create overrides and custom alerts for applications or application teams * Identify potential performance and process improvements * Manage various operational requests and troubleshoot issues * Ensure technical configuration and support documentation is accurate and maintained * Coach and share knowledge with peers * Adhere to change policy guidelines * Understand, apply, and enforce organizational risk based security controls to the infrastructure design * Escalate issues that cannot be solved to the appropriate team members in a timely manner * Coordinate service/support needs with Vendors, Technical Support Engineers, Application Support Engineers, and the Infrastructure Team effectively communicating issues and resolutions REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: * 2+ years of Microsoft Monitoring tools experience (MOM, SCOM) Microsoft SCOM Adminstration experience to Task Creation, Generation of Custom Reporting * Experience configuring, deploying and sustaining windows management systems to include Windows client, server, and SCOM in order to monitor and manage information technology assets * Preparing and publishing reports on real-time information on system and service performance * Updating alerts (rules, scripts, triggers) and support the current SCOM infrastructure * Scripting (XML, PowerShell, VBScript, etc.) * Report Creation * Microsoft SQL Reporting Services * Microsoft SCOM Task Creation * Fluency in oral and written English is essential * Strong customer focus, communication skills, and excellent technical and interpersonal skills * Creative thinker * Ability to manage and prioritize multiple activities   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
