Detailed Description of Services: Responsible for management of technical projects in part for the Executive Office of Energy and Environmental Affairs IT Department (EEA IT), and for EEAs Climate Team. The Project Manager will lead the evolution of highly-visible, complex agency projects from scoping through delivery, working closely with agency leads, as well as IT managers, project leads, applications, infrastructure, and telecom/network, to drive project planning and execution of complex enterprise software development projects. This contract may have the opportunity to renew starting next fiscal year, July 1, 2019. The Project Manager is responsible for ensuring projects are well-planned, executed efficiently, and delivered with high quality. This includes: Primary Responsibilities: EEA Climate Team – MA Climate Change Clearinghouse Project • Working closely with climate change vendor NESCAUM, Project Manager, and EEA Climate Team to ensure successful completion of the new phase(s) of the MA Climate Change Clearinghouse project. • Working with NESCAUM team and EEA staff to develop detailed project workplan, including weekly schedule • Reviewing weekly status reports and schedule weekly meetings with NESCAUM and EEA staff, as necessary. • Coordinating participation from EEA Climate Team and other project reviewers as required during the engagement, and facilitating scheduling. • Coordinating EEAs review of the Deliverables and signing an acceptance form to signify acceptance for each accepted Deliverable. • Working with NESCAUM staff and EEA team to ensure user feedback is thoughtfully incorporated into new phases of website design. • Compiling requested modifications to website and website content following EEA review(s) and ensure modifications are incorporated into site. • Completing monthly website review to ensure proper functionality and service delivery. • Working with EEA IT to ensure timely push to production for final deliverables from NESCAUM team. EEA IT • Assisting with development and team expansion of a Secretariat technology-centric project tracking system. The development of an interactive project “dashboard” is also planned in Jira. Perform hands-on project management, including: • Managing and maintaining project information, including feature definition and scope. • Facilitating regular project reviews (including scrum sessions); participating in individual scrum planning meetings as needed. • Identifying significant risks and defining/driving resolution plans; presenting solutions as a hands-on analyst, including the articulation of impediments, risk analysis, risk mitigations, timeline and budget impacts. • Managing cross-team dependencies, coordinating cross-team initiatives and identify blocking issues. • Performing high-level project tracking, and reporting; delivering metrics across EEA IT and EOTSS. • Driving information capturing and sharing, and disseminating best practices across EEA IT and EOTSS; providing clear project communication to stakeholders across all levels, departments, and skillsets. • Supporting and contributing to the development of the EEA IT PMO, including providing input and feedback related to IT staffing   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
