Job Description: Reason this is open: Client is implementing Guidewire as part of its core systems transformation program and is looking for BAs who can demonstrate an understanding of insurance business knowledge and associated processes (across commercial and personal business), is well versed in Guidewire v10 (PolicyCenter and BillingCenter) and has prior experience working in a large transformation program including conducting detailed workshops with client SMEs, documenting requirements and providing walkthroughs to development and testing teams. Core Job Responsibilities: Identifying and addressing clients needs by using agile delivery methodologies like Kanban, Scrum, and Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe). Strong project execution orientation - ability to quickly and accurately rationalize and simplify large volumes of client knowledge and detail into relevant deliverables i.e. root cause analysis, meeting facilitation, presentation of findings, business process flow, detailed requirements documentation, optional business process / business application solutions Effectively and efficiently applies knowledge of insurance and insurance business applications to design, present, challenge the status quo, and guide clients in selection of solution option. Understanding and demonstration of out of the box product capabilities and tying them to future state business processes Coordinating project input through various phases of project life cycle from inception to implementation. Individual tasks may include grooming backlog, finalizing sprint work allocation and reviewing/reporting the status. Documentation of requirements in a pre-defined project template. Advanced verbal communication skills - active listening, in one on one and group settings, to all levels within a client organization, and within project teams; exceptional written communications - relevant presentations, detailed requirements definition and documentation High degree of interpersonal skill including ability to demonstrate a consultative mindset, enthusiasm, collaboration, persuasion, sense of urgency, problem solving; to effectively facilitate client / subject matter expert time, meetings, client decisions, client and team expectations Adept at working through ambiguity and grey areas; anticipates potential business issues/ roadblocks based upon a set of circumstances and proactively responds with alternative solutions High degree of flexibility in assignment and ability to change course as dictated by evolving project priorities and circumstances - including concurrently handling multiple tasks Sensitivity to timelines, target dates, time boxed activities, and understanding of Agile project execution methodology Qualifications: Education/Certification Bachelors Degree required, preferably in a technical or scientific field.
