Experience with Java/Kotlin 2. Experience with automated testing for APIs - Experience in designing and developing automation tests for backend micro services using Java, Kotlin, Junit, TestNG, REST Assured or REST Easy. - Experience with building automated test in continuous integration environment - Experience with building KPI metrics building and reporting - Familiar with one or more database technologies - Self-driven, is proactive and demonstrates initiative, and strong problem solver. - Strong interpersonal skills including excellent communication and the ability to collaborate and work well with others. - Ability to explore test automation best practices across the industry and share the knowledge with the team. - Knowledge and experience in SDLC including SCRUM Agile processes. - Ability to lead and manage test case development and execution. - Experience using test, development and defect management tool including Jira, Jenkins, GitHub, and Test Rail. Day-to-Day: This team works on two week sprints. Take on APIs with a developer, develop test cases, building automated test against them, review developers code. Take on 1-2 APIs to test per sprint. Expected to complete automated test for APIs and performance test if needed. 3-4 developers on this team and 3 SDET, and a few system analyst, so total of around 10 people on this team. There will be stand ups in the morning as it is a highly collaborative team, working side by side with the developers. Possibility of extension and FTE. Interview: 45 min phone screen; online coding questions during phone screen, 30 min of coding. 30min – 1 hour in person, personality and some whiteboarding Why is this role open?
