IT - Systems Analysis Consultant



What Project/Projects will the candidate be working on while on assignment?

Project OMNI - migration to the new Genesys Platform. Project OMNI is the new platform for Contact Center. Program Overview: To create a cohesive, enterprise strategy for contact center technology to assist in solving current and future business needs, operational models, and market demands, serving all lines of business.



DAY-TO-DAY:

-The resource will be on team meetings with the business to gather the requirements

-Document the various options providing solutions in the new platform

-Present the options to achieve the requirements to the development team

-The resource works as part of a 7 member SRE team with developers and QA

-The resource needs to use SQL skills to gather legacy business information needed for migration

-The resource needs to use Web Service skills to gather legacy business information needed for migration and also test out new web services in the new platform



IDEAL BACKGROUND:

Systems Analysis skills with QA experience.


TOP REQUIREMENTS:

- 2+ years of System Analysis experience.

- Experience with SDLC practices.

- 2+ years of experience working with Contact Center Applications.

- Knowledge/understanding of databases, and ability to perform basic SQL queries.

- Experience with Web Services.

Part of an 7 member SRE team, working with a group of dev & qa resources focused on contact center technologies and work items



What are the top 5-10 responsibilities for this position? (Please be detailed as to what the candidate is expected to do or complete on a daily basis)

* Be part of an SRE team working on Systems Analysis, Quality Analysis work items.

* Assess, interpret, and document customer needs and business requirements.

* Work with the development staff to translate business requirements to technical requirements.

* Assess and document data transaction requirements and interactions between applications and backend systems.

* Create technical documentation, and conduct document walk-throughs. What software tools/skills are needed to perform these daily responsibilities?
