We have a 24-month project with our client in Albany, NY that requires a Senior Oracle PL/SQL Developer This position will fill a key role on priority projects in support of the New York State Office of Mental Healths mission. This position will be responsible for all development activities such as building and deploying code, ensuring system and state-wide standards are met, unit testing, maintenance and resolving defects and ensuring compliance with agency, state, and federal regulation. In addition, this position may be required to assist in development of help documents for the end user. Day-to-Day Tasks include, but not limited to: Execute full software development life cycle (SDLC) Use Microsoft Visual Studio 2017 or higher and write code using MVC Architecture, .Net, JavaScript, Angular, Ajax, HTML, XML and WCF Write complex queries in PL/SQL for multiple applications. Develop scripts for automating support and maintenance for multiple applications. Develop scripts to load patient and patient event information, using complex logic and database keys, into several systems that track OMH patients who have committed crimes. Interact with business users to translate requirements into technical models. Analyze databases and tune their components and queries developed against them, to maximize performance and efficiency. Design and deploy complex reports, and diagnose and troubleshoot various rules, calculations, and data issues on application reports using Crystal Reports. Mandatory Qualifications: Develops and implements applications and programs for the backend processing systems used in businesses and organizations. 60 – 84 Months-Candidate is able to work independently, without assistance and provides guidance to others. May have an advanced education. Preferred Qualifications: 72 Months Experience creating Oracle schema objects and reviewing developers database work, to ensure it meets industry and in-house standards for multiple applications. 72 months Experience with Oracle: Database design, PL SQL coding, stored procedures, packages, indexes, triggers, creating tables, etc., including the use of a tool to write and test SQL code and manipulate data (such as Toad). 72 months Experience building and maintaining Oracle tables that contain Personal Health Information (PHI). 72 months Experience programming web-based applications using ASP.NET and MVC 72 months Experience troubleshooting and tuning database queries and structures to increase their performance and efficiency. 72 Months Experience designing and invoking Crystal Reports 9 or higher (NOT SSRS) from web-based applications using an Oracle database. 72 months Experience in coding JavaScript/jQuery/AJAX Languages Must have English Native or bilingual proficiency Additional vendor information Candidates need to meet 60% of the Preferred Qualifcations to qualify for the position.   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
