Job Description Analyst: Business Analysis, SDLC, Requirements Gathering,

DESCRIPTION :

We are looking for Business Analysts with Medicaid experience and they must have Claims Processing, NCPDP, EDI, and HIPAA. This position will be in Austin, Texas and start very soon. Duration of the position will be 12 months. Please send over any local candidates preferably at the most competitive rate.

Responsibilities :

* Responsible for analyzing and designing new business solutions
* Responsible for identifying and defining detailed product functional requirements and use cases
* Responsible for setting up and maintaining the Requirements Traceability Matrix
* Works closely with Functional Leads and Technical Leads to assess current capabilities and identify high-level requirements
* Works closely with the Project Manager, Architects, and other team members to define metrics and performance goals for the application
* Participates in transitioning the requirements and use cases to the designers ensuring a clear and complete understanding of the requirements.
* Assists Testers in translating requirements and use cases into test conditions and expected results for product, performance, and user acceptance testing.
* Acts as an advisor to analysts on the Reporting team for issues related to requirements and project documentation
* Prioritizes work analysts on the Reporting team
* Acts as the first point of escalation for issues and obstacles encountered by the analysts on the Reporting team
* Acts as a backup for the Reporting Team Lead

Required Skills :

* SDLC experience 5 Years
Customer service / client interaction 5 Years
* Customer service / client interaction 5 Years
* Analysis / requirements gathering / design 5 Years
* Interaction with software testing activities (reviewer or tester) 3 Years

Desired Skills :

* Experience as a Business Analyst on application development projects
* Experience working with technical resources to ensure system designs meet functional requirements
* Working knowledge of Medicaid systems
* Functional expertise in data warehousing or reporting solutions
* Experience using Rational suite for requirements & testing documentation
