Job Summary:

The Validation position will be responsible for driving all necessary validation documentation and related activities for upgrading the Business Objects r3.1, PVCS & LimsLink v5 applications. This includes working with multiple customers both in North America and Central Europe as well as third party software suppliers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

· Develop system validation protocols & scripts (IQ, OQ, PQ) based on software/hardware configuration

· Work with facility Subject Matter Experts to document user requirements

· Update application system User Requirements, Functional, and Design Specifications

· Develop Performance Qualification scripts based on configuration

· Route validation documentation using BPLM (TeamCenter)

· Document configurations using Baxter templates

· Manage Tasks based on aggressive timelines

· Flexible work schedule (may require early teleconferences with European customers)

· Interact with customers at multiple sites in North America and Central Europe

· Hold Teleconference/Webex Meetings

· Interact in team environment

Qualifications

· Experience with Business Objects (Crystal Reports), PVCS, LimsLink and/or SQL*LIMS related validation implementation.

· Validation experience with computerized systems in the pharmaceutical industry.

· Excellent oral and written communication skills.

· Thorough understanding of the principles of computer systems validation, SDLC methodologies and testing best practice.

· Knowledge of cGXP, cGMP, cGDP, 21CFR Part11 and industry best practices.

· Ability to understand existing and new business processes and requirements to ensure proper implementation and validation of systems.

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills ensuring the ability to interact with the business, peers and vendors in a professional manner.

· Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

· Adhere to timelines

· Quick learner

· Experience with BPLM (Teamcenter), SharePoint, Microsoft Office

· Able to multitask

· Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field preferred or relevant work experience.

· Fluency in written and spoken English essential.
