Job Description Developer: SDLC, EDI, CDA, NCPDP HTTP B2B

Description :

Requires a minimum of 5 years IT related work experience with 3 years software development experience.

· Must manage multiple priorities at the same time.

· Basic understanding of healthcare industry desired



Skills:

· Minimum 3 years working with IBM Sterling B2B Integrator installation/set up/Configuration.

· Minimum 2 years in B2B foundation

· Experience in setting up FTP/HTTP adapter configuration and SSH host keys.

· Minimum 2 years in BPML development and testing support.

· Knowledge of EDI transaction standards including X12, NCPDP, HL7 or CDA

· Works with teams to implement and support various development, design and analysis initiatives.

· Support projects through the use of software development tools under limited supervision.

· Understands their role on a team and contributes to the team project objectives.

· Exercises professional judgment in asking for assistance, discussing ideas, and seeking necessary approvals.

· Employs prescribed methodologies. Will know and follow the SDLC process in the creation of their work products.

· Can create designs and design specifications through the assessment of requirements.

· Can assess alternatives to different designs and choose best solution to fit business and technical needs.

· Develops code and other supporting solutions as required to meet project objectives according to the requirements and design specifications.

· Review technical walkthroughs with Tech Leader and team using established technical walkthrough processes.

· Able to contribute to the development of test plans, develop test cases and conduct unit testing in support of project objectives.

· Ensure the technical documentation for the business and/or technical area of specialization is kept up-to-date

· Able to provide professional and appropriate oral and written information to internal and external customers.

· Demonstrates innovation and thought leadership

· Provide task updates to the Project Manager on task activities.

· Participates in the interviewing and hiring process of other technical staff members.

· May specialize in a particular business area, technical area, or industry/tool expertise.
