We have a 30-month project with our client in Albany, NY that requires a Software Architect, Expert Day-to-Day Tasks include, but not limited to: Develop technical architecture for the MET Project and/or any other priority projects or initiatives deemed essential by OMH. Collaborate with other Technical Architects to create and foster a Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) environment for OMH applications. Participate in business analysis and systems development lifecycle. Execute full software development life cycle (SDLC) Use Microsoft Visual Studio 2019 or higher and write code using MVC Architecture, .Net, JavaScript, Angular, Ajax, HTML, XML and WCF. Prepare scripts to create and modify existing Oracle tables, create indexes, constraints, triggers, views, etc., code stored procedures and packages, convert, and migrate data when necessary. Diagnose and troubleshoot various rules, calculations, and data issues on application reports using Crystal Reports. Mentor and assist other programmers, both state and consultant, providing guidance for debugging, troubleshooting, securing, and deploying applications, data access, data communications and system architecture configurations. Use a source code repository, such as Tortoise SVN or Visual SVN, or TFS for checking source code in and out, and branching off new versions of the source code. Work within the IT Service Management System to take in incidents and service requests for the application, as well as request services from other ITS groups. Coordinate service requests with various ITS Chief Operating Office personnel for releases and changes for the application. Diagnose and debug production issues reported via ITSM. Escalate critical calls as necessary and join bridge calls to assist in diagnosis. Report status of current tasks and outstanding issues to supervisor. Mandatory Qualifications: Makes high-level design choices and dictates technical standards, including software coding standards, tools, and platforms. Designs multi-leveled architecture or component interactions of a large-scale software system. 84+ Months: Candidate is able to provide guidance to large teams and/or has extensive industry experience and is considered at the top of his/her field. Preferred Qualifications: 108 Months Experience as lead technical architect on technical projects performing systems architecture, engineering, administration, configuration, troubleshooting, performance tuning, preventative maintenance, and security procedures. 108 Months Experience using Microsoft Visual Studio to develop complex n-tier web browser-based applications in ASP.Net/MVC and/or C# for n-tier web deployment. 108 Months Experience using PL/SQL to develop Oracle packages, triggers, stored procedures, functions, scripts, and cursors. 96 Months Experience creating formal Technical Architecture documentation based on system requirements and interpreting and analyzing business requirements and building the logic within an applications code to meet those requirements. 96 Months Experience with Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) application integration including development of secure .Net web-services using Windows Communication Foundation (WCF), REST Services (Web API), message processing and Enterprise Service Bus. 96 Months Experience developing applications for a complex health related agency. 96 Months Experience with implementing various software design patterns. 24 Months Experience and depth of knowledge in ASP.Net Core MVC framework. 24 Months Experience coding and maintaining applicatio   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
