Prepare database scripts, creating/modifying Oracle tables, packages, stored procedures, indexes, constraints, triggers, etc. Maintain and support multiple batch-based data feeds/exchanges between Oracle and IDMS environments. Mentor and assist other programmers, both state and consultant, providing guidance for debugging, troubleshooting, securing, and deploying applications. Coordinate service requests with various ITS personnel for releases and changes for the application. Work within the IT Service Management System to take in incidents for the application, as well as request services from other ITS groups. Diagnose and debug production issues reported via ITSM. Escalate critical calls as necessary and join bridge calls to assist in diagnosis. Document technical requirements, solutions, etc. to facilitate Knowledge Transfer. Report status of current tasks and outstanding issues to supervisor. Mandatory Qualifications: Creates computer software. May specialize in one area of computer software or may write code for many kinds of software. 84+ months: Candidate is able to provide guidance to large teams and/or has extensive industry experience and is considered at the top of his/her field. Preferred Qualifications: 85 Months Experience developing and/or maintaining IBM mainframe applications/batch processes written in COBOL. 85 Months Experience working in an IBM z/OS environment and developing and/or supporting batch processing using JCL, IDCAMS, IEBGENR, IEFBR14, etc. 85 Months Experience working on complex applications, such as, those with data exchanges and interaction between mainframe and server-based applications/database. 85 Months Experience working with Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) Health Insurance transactions. This includes but is not limited to the 837& 835 transactions. 85 Months Experience with developing/ maintaining a billing system(s) that bills Medicare, Medicaid, & commercial insurance for services rendered. 84 Months Experience developing and/or maintaining applications/programs/batch processes using CA-IDMS. 24 Months Experience with PL/SQL coding things such as stored procedures, packages, indexes, triggers, creating tables, etc.   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
