Job Description : Role and skill set required: The data analyst will be working on a big data project that is consolidating data across Risk and Compliance departments at Wells Fargo. Prior experience working as a data analyst in large data projects (data warehouse/ data lake) is required. Should have experience analyzing source systems and data requirements, compare and identify the gaps and present the findings. Data modeling/ understanding data models/ database structures is a plus. Basic SQL skill is a must. Domain experience in Governance, Risk and Compliance is highly preferred with focus on one or more of the following: PRC (Process, Risk and Control), RCSA (Risk and Compliance Self-Assessment), Testing and Validation (not IT testing). Ability to work in a very dynamic environment with shifting priorities and multiple projects. Experience working in Hadoop, knowledge of querying Hive tables is a plus. Should have experience working in an Agile environment and a good understanding of the SDLC process.
