An opportunity has arisen in our International Branch Core Technology group for an experienced Application Software Engineer with a strong appreciation of international regulatory reporting. The role requires analysis, development (e.g. Informatica/ETL, SQL StoredProc, Autosys and unix scripting), vendor management as well as technology application management. Interaction with business partners, vendors and peers will be required to ensure the successful integration of our projects. The successful candidate will be a self-starter with excellent time management and communication skills, the ability to adapt to changing priorities and be able to work under pressure to meet aggressive deadlines. This position will require the candidate to have strong software engineer skills. Ideally, this individual will have experience with the vendor application OneSumX from Wolters Kluwer Financial Services as well as a good understanding of international regulatory reporting. In addition, this team member will: Design and develop the various FRS Global application components, including unit testing, which would also include the participation in peer reviews, the adoption and evolution of high-quality code development, etc. Assist with technical design documentation based on business functional and non-functional requirements, then work with other members of development teams to socialize and update design. Create and review development estimates for their development assignments. Update and complete documentation, procedures and user guides as needed. Understand BCP, quality assurance, information security and compliance requirements and analyze changes for risk to the environment.
