The Clients Risk Transformation team is seeking experienced Application Systems Engineers that will be a vital part of our team responsible for the design and development through a complete System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) of Extract, Transform & load (ETL) processes. The selected ETL Developers will be involved in the building solutions in the in the different Data Zones (i.e. Raw, Sanitized, Conformed, and Data Distribution) that will be deployed within the Enterprise Risk Data Environments. The successful individual should be familiar with transactional database design, ETL, and data warehousing concepts in a heterogeneous data environment including but not limited to MS SQL, Oracle, and Teradata. The ideal candidate will also be experienced working in an Agile and collaborative environment with business users and other technology partners. Clear and effective communication is a key measure of success in this position. Responsibilities include: •Design and implement highly distributed, scalable and performance ETL processes - Staging, Data Enrichments and Strong data delivery techniques. •Effectively work in an ETL framework driven environment. •Identify key business processes and deliver subject specific ETL processes to load physical data models. •Support ongoing ETL efforts for Development, QA and Production environments. •Effectively communicate data design to other members of the team to ensure proper implementation and utilization of the data structures. •Partner with source system Subject Matter Experts, Data Analysts and Modelers to build Conformed and Data Distribution views of complex data sources into our environment. •Work very closely with business analysts, development teams and project managers for requirements and business rules. •Work on complex problems where analysis requires evaluation of intangible variance factors. •Plan, perform, and act as the escalation point for the most complex platform designs, coding, and testing. Required Qualifications 7+ years of application development and implementation experience 7+ years of SDLC (System Development Life Cycle) experience 7+ years of experience with databases such as Oracle, DB2, SQL server, or Teradata 7+ years of experience with end-to-end design and delivery of ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) applications 5+ years of experience writing Microsoft SQL Server relational database queries, stored procedures, query optimization and performance tuning 2+ years of ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) development experience using Talend Desired Qualifications Good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills A BS/BA degree or higher in science or technology Knowledge and understanding of Python, Ruby, PowerShell, and Shell scripting 2+ years of Ab Initio experience 2+ years of Informatica experience Knowledge and understanding of source code version control systems, configuration management techniques and procedures 3+ years of Agile experience 3+ years of Autosys experience Ability to identify business needs and deliver solutions in close partnership with line of business and technology Experience applying new technologies to business need   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
