The QAS Specialist will work with Application Teams during pre and post assessment periods. The QAS Specialist reports to the Quality Assurance Team Lead. For each phase end review the Quality Assurance Specialist is responsible to plan, schedule, execute, and document findings of the review. Quality Assurance Specialists must have a detailed understanding of processes which support the software development life cycle. Required Skills: * All roles specified in QAS2 plus the following * Experience establishing formal QA processes for large enterprise software life cycle projects * Experience defining quality goals and objectives for large enterprise software lifecycle projects * Experience developing,executing test cases, scripts, plans and procedures both manual and automated * Experience developing automated testing procedures and scripts using visual studio and /or other tools * Experience establishing metrics, applying industry best practices and overseeing all aspects of Quality assurance * Experience as lead POC for all QA aspects of a SDLC including software and components * Experience testing updates, patches, repairs in the development, test, and QA enviroments * Experience developing software changes for promotion to production following best practices established by client * Experience as a lead, mentoring fellow team members, collaboration and negotiation experience * Excellent communication,both oral and written , value driven work ethic * Experience with Microsoft Team Foundation Server TFS)   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
