Project Manager is needed to manage the Health-e Oklahoma (HeO) project activities for the OMES on a project at the Oklahoma State Department of Health. This position will be assigned responsibilities involving the planning, execution, and finalization of the HeO project according to deadlines and within budget. This includes identifying necessary resources and coordinating the efforts of all internal and external team members in order to deliver projects according to plan. The position will also define the projects objectives and oversee quality control throughout its life cycle. Project Manager hours are anticipated to be 2000 hours with option for the OMES to increase the hours if needed. The Vendor shall provide only resumes of those proposed Contractors who have the following skills, knowledge, or experience: • Experience with Agile project management methodology. • Strong familiarity with and the ability to use project management software. • Understanding and experience with the Project Management Institutes (PMI) Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) Guide and Standards. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with all levels of staff. • Strong analytical and problem solving skills and multi-tasking capabilities. • Demonstrated experience with System Development Life Cycle and Project Management methodologies with both COTS and in-house development. • Possesses a general understanding in the areas of application programming, database and system design. • Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented environment.
