Description :

It is looking for an IBM Mainframe Database Administrator to provide database administration support for the Commonwealths Unemployment Compensation Mainframe and Insurance Department Mainframe. An important aspect of this work includes advising the CTO on all activities involving enterprise mainframe operations and services. These responsibilities are inclusive of the planning, design, implementation, and maintenance of information technology systems. Work is performed independently under the general direction of the EBR CTO.

Required Skills:

• IBM IMS Database version 14.1/15.1 or above
• IBM DB2 Database version V11/V12 or above
• IBM DB2 Administration Tools
• IBM IMS Solution and Recovery Packs
• Writing and maintaining JCL version V2R2/V2R3
• Management and implementation of backup and recovery strategies for DB2 and IMS databases
• IMS DBRC

Preferred Experience:

• Experience with Unemployment Compensation Systems
• Certifications in IBM DB2 for z/OS
