Description: Role: Analytics Developer Location: Greater Richmond, VA (Must sit onsite open to relocation candidates) Length: Year long contract with high potential to extend based on performance (There is a potential for this candidate to convert to permanent employee as well. Overview: This role is focused on working with R language and Python for statistical analysis for a project that is moving data from SQL Server on prem to Azure Data Lake in the cloud. Analytics Developer Responsibilities: You will be supporting and driving a company wide project centered around transformation of data into the cloud. Lead the development and implementation of an enterprise data strategy. Develop and implement a Data Governance program. Support the information mobility program. Communicate complex technical information to business customers and project teams in an effective and concise manner. Run and participate in cross-discipline IT project delivery teams. Be the technical lead resource for a variety of information projects that will be decided by current business needs and technological developments. Perform activities relating to analysis, evaluation, building, programming, testing, correcting, implementing, operating or supporting existing and planned IT products and processes. Assess technical infrastructure and processes, identifying potential risks and recommending corrective action. Analytics Developer Qualifications: 4+ years of IT experience within the SDLC Experience migrating data from on prem SQL Server into cloud environments (Preferably Azure Data Lake) Professional experience with Python and R Language Professional experience performing statistical analysis Preferred to have experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI Familiarity with machine learning tools and techniques (Azure Machine Learning Studio preferred) Proficient with iOS and mobile tools and concepts Experienced with Microsoft technologies (.net, HTML5, JSON) and RESTful APIs Effective in leading and participating in cross-discipline project teams Possess great communication and presentation skills   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
