Responsibilities include developing technical solutions to mitigate security vulnerabilities, identifying and defining security requirements, and preparing standard operating procedures and other related documentation. Job Responsibilities: • Develop technical solutions and new security tools to help mitigate security vulnerabilities and automate repeatable tasks. • Remediate known vulnerabilities. • Identify and define system security requirements. • Configure and troubleshoot security infrastructure devices. • Monitor log files and report any security incidents and suspicions activities in real time. • Prepare and documents standard operating procedures and protocols. • Perform other security related activities as assigned. Minimum Qualifications and Experience: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Required • At least 3-5 years of proven work experience as an IT security engineer. • At least 3-5 years of experience in building and maintaining security systems. • Detailed technical knowledge of database, application, and infrastructure security. • Hands on experience in security systems, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, anti-virus software, authentication systems, SIEM, content filtering, etc • Experience with network security and networking technologies and with system, security, and network monitoring tools. • Thorough understanding of the latest security principles, techniques, and protocols. • Problem solving skills and ability to work under pressure. • BS degree in Computer Science or related field.
