Description: Within the Enterprise Contact Technology (ECT) group in PVSI & Community Bank Technology (CBT), there is an exciting opportunity for a Genesys Applications System Engineer. The position will be part of the Genesys Application Management technology team supporting a large implementation of the Genesys product suite. The team is looking for a self motivated/self-directed applications engineer who has experience acting individually and within a team to provide Genesys application engineering and support, system maintenance, design guidance and consultation utilizing a thorough understanding of applicable technology, tools and existing designs. Candidates will be responsible for the following but not limited to: • Support a large multi-tenant Genesys Enterprise Platform. • Identify problems, analyze possible solutions, and determine best course of action to resolve. • Understand complex business requirements and processes through effective analysis (which includes participation in project meetings) and working with other SMEs, architects, business/technology partners/vendor to come up with solution. • Work closely with Business and Technology partners on defect resolutions. • Provide support for overall systems testing and implementation into production • Excellent customer service attitude, communication skills (written and verbal), and interpersonal skills. • A strong commitment to team environment dynamics with the ability to contribute expertise and follow leadership directives at appropriate times. Required Qualifications: 7+ years of Genesys call system experience, 5+ years of production support experience, 5+ years of experience leading multiple work streams, applications or deliverables, 5+ years troubleshooting environments across the entire architecture. Desired Qualifications: 4+ years of Linux experience, 4 + years of experience with SIP, RTP, 3+ years Apache experience, ability to work effectively in a team environment and across all organization levels where flexibility, collaboration and adaptability are important.   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
