Other Testing activities could include End to End, Performance and Smoke testing. This position also requires close collaboration with our partners, vendors, and System Integrator. PURPOSE AND GOALS • This resource will provide expert-level User Acceptance Test (UAT) Analyst services to WAHBE specifically in EDI within EDIFECS scrum team. • This resource will be a team member of the Software Quality team. PROJECT-SPECIFIC QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE • Required o Experience in a lead tester role on projects with internal and external stakeholders o Familiarity with X12/EDI format; knowledge of 834 highly desirable o Expertise evaluating transactional data, technical requirements, and business validation rules o Proven ability to effectively communicate test results to business and technical stakeholders o Bachelors Degree in IT, computer science, or related field. o 5+ years experience supporting IT system development o Designated SME in assigned area of responsibility o Two years experience working for a Health Insurance Domain. o Two years experience testing web-based health insurance software, Edifecs file processing software, EDI transaction and integrated eligibility systems o Experience with JIRA, Zendesk and automated software testing tools o Experience with SDLC, waterfall and agile system development o Knowledge of software testing methodology and techniques. o Knowledge of industry standards and best practices for testing software. o Knowledge on HIPAA policies and rules for EDIs o Assists WAHBE Business Analysts in troubleshooting issues and analyzing the root cause of defects. o Leads testing activities – includes the understanding and communication of requirements to other testers and the review of created test cases and scripts. DUTIES, TASKS, AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Develop test scenarios based on business process flows. • Facilitate Scrum Team in definition and creation of Epics, User Stories, and acceptance criteria. • Actively participate in Agile Scrum ceremonies and Stories Definition of Done (DoD). • Ability to identify UAT Environment needs, triage issues and determine mitigations to drive up-time. • Develop test case scenarios from User Story acceptance criteria. • Develop test cases based on test scenarios. • Perform data preparation activities to support testing. • Execute test cases and report test outcomes. • Work with SI Vendor to analyze test issues/defects. • Work with business area representatives to perform UAT. • Review SI Vendor system and integration test results. • Comment on test related deliverables. • Compile test results. • Participate in testing meetings. • Identify and communicate data requirements to be configured for test execution. • Execute test cases and report test outcomes, through ability to create Jira dashboards and reports. • Work with the Scrum Team to analyze test issues/defects. • Engage those across the business to actively assist testing efforts. • Plan and coordinate testing activities with our external partners, Vendors and SI. • Maintain and Monitor defects in Defect Management tool (Jira and Zendesk). • Collaborate with our partners, Vendors and SI. • Assist WAHBE Business Analysts in troubleshoot   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
