Provide SME support as needed for eMedNY Claims and Financial, Provider, Client or Third-Party Liability evolution initiatives. Analyze and evaluate Claims and Financial Subsystem processes and interfaces including identification of impacts and appropriate remediation enhancements. Report and provide support to eMedNY management on claims and financial issues; and as directed, collaborate in, and support the design, development, and implementation of activities necessary to maintain support functions with other state agencies, other federal agencies, and the provider community. Work collaboratively to interpret Medicaid policy vis-à-vis systems functionality and participate in the development of Medicaid initiatives. Represent at seminars and training sessions as needed. Preferred Qualifications: Analyzes an organization or business domain (real or hypothetical) and documents its business or processes or systems, assessing the business model or its integration with technology with distinct deliverables to a solution. 84+ Months-Candidate is able to provide guidance to large teams and/or has extensive industry experience and is considered at the top of his/her field. Mandatory Qualifications: Bachelors degree in a Technical field. 84 months of experience with the Title XIX Medicaid Program. 84 months of subject matter expertise with large-scale, health care management information system, such as eMedNY, that contains multiple subsystems and processes hundreds of millions of transactions on an annual basis. 48 months of experience in a Medicaid environment with the interactions between Medicaid, Medicaid Managed Care, Medicare, providers and other state and federal agencies and programs. 48 months of experience in Medicaid Claims Processing. 48 months of experience in Medicaid Finance, Provider, Client or Third-Party Liability. 48 months of experience with developing and maintaining working relationships with local districts, the Medicaid provider community, other bureaus within the Office of Health Insurance Programs of the New York State Department of Health, other departments, or federal agencies. 48 months of experience working directly with PHI and PII daily in a HIPAA covered environment.   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
