NE2 will assist on tasks given to all Network staff, with heavy concentration toward project completion and define goals, milestones for projects assigned and provide written reports on project status. Responsibilities: 1. With the Director of Network Operations direction this role will be responsible for: Event and Alarm Management, troubleshooting and maintain complex IP networks (LAN, WAN, wireless and VoIP) that includes Cisco Technologies such as: BGP, OTV, MPLS, SIP, QoS, IPSec/DMVPN. 2. Assist in modifying network designs and architectures to ensure PCI and SOX compliance. 3. Observes and evaluates the operation of the Global network and servers including monitoring and reporting. Examples of activities to support this include: networked port use, bandwidth utilization, wireless network usage, protocol analyzation, QoS Statistics, etc.. 4. Assists the network team with Strategic application support in a collaborative effort with other IT service organizations. 5. Provides answers and support for questions from network and server users. 6. Supports network staff in troubleshooting network users difficult connectivity problems. 7. Assists the Director of Network Operations with various other projects as assigned. 8. Maintain a constructive, team-oriented and customer-focused attitude at all times and in all settings. 9. Follow Code of Business Conduct and Ethics and the Electronic Systems Policy. Knowledge and Skills Required: Able to assist in deploy, manage, and administer the following: o WAN technologies such as MPLS, OTV, BGP, IPSec, DMVPN o Cisco switching, Wireless Controllers and routers (ASA, ASR, Nexus and IOS) o NMS System management (SNMPv3) o Riverbed & F5 Experience Proficient with ITIL based service portfolio Working knowledge of network vulnerability assessment tools such as Nessus or NMAP IPSEC VPN & DMVPN deployment experience Network troubleshooting tools such as Ethereal/Wireshark, Command line (traceroute, tcpdump, ect..) or Network General Sniffer Non-technical Skills: Strong analytical fault isolation and troubleshooting skills Ability to find technology workarounds to issues that cannot be resolved in a timely fashion Outstanding Customer service Skills Excellent organizational skills Good verbal and written communications skills Strong task completions skills Desire to be challenged Desirable Skills: Familiarity with, or experience implementing, PCI DSS 2.0 compliant solutions Familiarity with retail Point-of-Sales networks and architectures Start Time: 12:00 AM Hours: 8:00am to 5:00pm Location: Waltham - MA USA, CLT Waltham Massachusetts United States   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
