SOA Unix Linux Analyst (Jobs in Boston, MA)   Requirement id 4425 Job title Analyst Job location in Boston, MA Skills required Systems Analyst, SOA, Unix, Linux Open Date 19-May-2011 Close Date Job type Contract Duration 1 Months Compensation DOE Status requirement --- Job interview type Phone Screen and Face to Face interview    Email Recruiter: coolsoft Job Description Analyst: Systems Analyst, SOA, Unix, Linux [Note:Close Date: 05/24/2011 04:00PM] [Only ONE Response Per Vendor is Allowed: Vendors can only submit one response for this solicitation] [Contract Length – Through 6/30/11, possibility of renewal] [Interview requirements- initial contact by phone, interview in person] Responsibilities • Serve as application implementation engineer and pre-production administrator for SOA Governance tools suite (HP Systinet Registry & Repository) • Install HP Systinet software and associated patches or upgrades • Customize and deploy new configurations of HP Systinet Repository for Commonwealth Services including Life Cycle processes • Create templates for use in governing Service Lifecycle process steps such as Requirements, Design, Operational Support • Load and maintain service lifecycle artifacts using HP Systinet including documentation, WSDLs, test cases etc. • Communicate with business, analysts, engineers and operational support stakeholders regarding progress and status of overall SOA Governance initiative Required Skills: • Ability to work with business and technical groups to understand business requirements and help communicate and translate to technical requirements. • Ability to manage and deliver on multiple threads within aggressive timelines and shifting priorities. • Excellent customer service based skills including verbal and written communications. • Proficient at office tools such as word processing, spreadsheets and producing simple reports and presentations. • Experience working with UNIX/Linux and Windows operating system environments Desired Skills: Additionally you will have had 3-5 years of professional IT experience with designing and implementing solutions within the following technology areas: • Familiarity with Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) concepts, especially Enterprise Service Bus (ESB), Service Registry and Repository • Familiarity with standard project management methodologies and implementations • Experience with web service creation, service discovery, service catalog in a repository and registry, run-time and design time service governance policies, preferably using a commercial product such as HP Systinet or IBM WSRR • Practical experience (3+ years) developing, customizing, implementing and supporting business and web services including: - Web service specification (WSDL, SOAP, WS-* standards, UDDI) - XML programming (XSD, XSLT, XQuery) – Java • Configuration experience with web and application servers – BEA Weblogic, IBM WebSphere, JBOSS, Apache, Tomcat • Database experience for basic reporting (Oracle 10g/11g)   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
