Job Description : We are seeking a Transport Engineer to plan and engineer advanced telecommunications network technologies and systems by translating customer requirements or strategic business objectives to develop and implement practical solutions. Responsibilities will include (i) engineering fiber optic SONET, Ethernet, and DWDM network plans to meet customer orders or network requirements, (ii) manage large project budgets and procure electronic equipment to complete network projects, (iii) interface between the customer service and various internal departments to manage the network projects to completion, (iv) record, track, and report network project tasks and progress to internal departments, and (v) perform as a Subject Matter Expert to troubleshoot network problems, and refine and implement solutions based on product and customer needs and requirements.
