Job Description Developer: VB.Net, SQL 2008, C#, Agile Development .NET Development

Our Dublin, OH client has an immediate opening for a Lead .NET Developer to support an ongoing project by providing high level design, technical issue and risk mitigation/escalation, and implementation planning. This individual will provide technical leadership and direction to other developers. Will instruct, direct, and check the work of other application developers. Will be responsible for analysis, program design, coding, testing, debugging, and documentation. This individual will be working on technical design as well as coding.

Responsibilities include:
High level design for projects across multiple systems.
Overall integrity and consistency of the technical solution through design, development and implementation.
Ensures that the design, development and testing teams have a productive technology environment to complete their work and are getting appropriate levels of technical support.
Understands and contributes to the right Architecture of the application by working with System Architects.
Understands and contributes to creation of Data Models.
Supports and uses application development methodology and tools.
Oversees the design, development or re-engineering of highly complex application components.
Ensures the integration of software packages, programs and reusable solutions on multiple platforms and across systems.
Ensures that all technical requirements are implemented accurately.
Responsible for End to End implementation of the project.
Mitigates escalated technical risks.
Resolves escalated technical issues.
Required Skills:
Competency to work at the highest technical level of all phases of applications development activities
Agile development experience
in-depth working knowledge of C#, VB.Net, SQL 2008
Other relevant experience includes:
Knowledge of Life Insurance Business
Knowledge of OIPA
Project management experience
Java programming
ETL through Informatica
ESP Scheduler
