College Degree or Equivalent Work Experience Installs, administers and/or supports on-premise MS SQL Server systems and databases. Installs and tests SQL patches, service packs, and updates Keeps environment up to date and current, including applications and tools related to SQL infrastructure Receive and respond to incident requests (Break/Fix) and changes in service (Service Requests) assigned to the team. Monitors and tunes the system to achieve optimum performance levels. Ensures server data integrity through proper execution of backups and disaster recovery process and procedures. Experience using and providing DBA support with AWS RDS and Aurora a plus. Ensures operational integrity of database solutions through proper application of procedures: Case Management process Case Resolution process Change Management process Outage Management process• Experience supporting Microsoft SQL Servers with primary focus on current releases of the product SQL 2008 R2/12/14/16/17 and above. Advanced understanding of SQL Server production troubleshooting techniques and experience assisting data consumers with Tier I issues. Strong understanding of logical and physical data models and ability to create and interpret Entity Relationship diagrams. • Possess the ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly. Experience working on long-term projects and meeting delivery dates with minimal supervision. • Extensive knowledge of SQL Server Management Best Practices. • Excellent communication skills needed for extensive contact with IT teams & management • Experience documenting complex processes and creating simple procedural documentation. • Must be able to set priorities and organize multiple tasks with limited direction. • Possess the ability to recover SQL Server databases and servers that utilize local and SAN attached storage.   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
