Requirements • The role really needs BI Publisher experience as a key skill. • PowerBI and Sql server skills are important down the road, but they are nice to haves • 2+ years of experience with Oracle BI Publisher / OBIEE (preferable 12c) • XML/XPath/XSD Concepts • Skilled with creating RTF/PDF Templates for BI Publisher Reports • 2+ years BI Publisher & OBIEE Catalog Maintenance • Understanding of Oracle BI & BI Publisher security models and implementation • 5+ years of Oracle database & SQL/PLSQL knowledge • 2+ years Performance Tuning of Oracle SQL/PLSQL • BI Publisher Administration Concepts • BI Publisher Security • BI Publisher Migration to new Versions • experience with Export/Import Catalog Objects in OBIEE • Experience writing complex SQL views and/or procedures • Preferred experience with SAP BOE / Crystal Reports • Preferred experience with Oracle BI (OBIEE) Dashboards • Working knowledge of ETL & Data Warehousing, Oracle BI repository preferred • Experience with tools such as Oracle SQL Developer & Toad • Working knowledge Microsoft PowerBI. Long term view: ABC is moving some of our reporting to • PowerBI, and long term will be slowly migrating to a MS platform for BI so exposure to MS Power BI is key.
