This position calls for a hands-on contributor for the database administration of the development, maintenance and production database systems and requires basic knowledge of the teams relational database management skills. Jr. DBAs are responsible for the assigned database administration tasks. This includes entry level maintenance and support of Database systems. Responsibilities: § Systems on-call support: DBA On-call responsibilities including working off hours, some holidays and weekends as determined by the teams on-call rotation schedule § Database maintenance responsibilities: Database maintenance responsibilities to ensure database access, performance, security, and back- up/recovery is optimal and available at all times § Systems troubleshooting duties: Participate in troubleshooting system errors and working efficiently to resolve issues and mitigate system downtime § Database upgrades tasks: Implement software and patches including working off hours, holidays and weekends Qualifications: § Entry level training or experience in Database systems administration and/or managing Database schema and data - (SQL, Sybase, Oracle) § Basic application development knowledge or experience § Experience in UNIX operating systems   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
