Candidate Requirements Must have a minimum of 5-7 years experience in large scale server farms with corporate/enterprise applications hosted with Microsoft products & technologies with 24/7/365 uptime requirements Must have strong experience in Informatica or Cognos or similar BI tool. Enterprise experience (100+ servers) with Windows Server, SQL Server, Internet Information Services Minimum of 5 years experience with large scale VMware deployments (100+ hosts, 2000+ VMs) 2 3 years experience with Linux / Unix systems desired Strong understanding of planning, design, implementation and support of large multi-tier web based applications utilizing hardware load balancing Understanding of Microsoft Active Directory infrastructure including Group Policy, OU*s and Security Templates MCSE on windows 2000/2003 or equivalent desired Experience with server clustering and load balancing technologies, hardware and software solutions Excellent understanding of network (internet & intranet) routing, TCP, IP, DNS, WINS, DHCP and other related internet protocols Familiarity with SAN and NAS technology Excellent communication and project planning skills, highly organized, ability to complete high level projects with little supervision At least 5 years of administration experience with configuring, optimizing, and maintaining Windows and Linux networks. Experience with Citrix and Cisco products is highly desirable. Experience with mixed Windows/Solaris/Linux networks is a plus. Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills. A seasoned professional with a proven track record of relying on their innovation, creativity and leadership skills to deliver robust, efficient and stable solutions. Strong problem-solving methodology and the ability to work with individuals at all levels of the organization as well as external vendors.
