Description:

The Customer Experience (CX) Specialist at the Wisconsin Department of Employee Trust Funds is a member of the communications team and collaborates with Business Intelligence and other business units to identify customer pain points and improvements for interactions across all touch points. The CX Specialist develops and analyzes customer surveys and interprets findings. This hybrid position is also responsible for managing web content and other benefits-related communications for customers.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Professional with at least three years of relevant experience and/or education in the following:

Survey Development

• Required experience writing, developing, and administering customer surveys

• Required experience with survey software (i.e., Survey Monkey)
• Required experience with report writing and summarizing data using tables, graphs, and fact sheets
• Required experience applying survey design methodology and best practices
• Preferred experience with data analysis and reporting tools such as MS Access, Excel, SQL Server, SSIS, SSRS, and Tableau
• Preferred experience drawing insights into customer behavior, trends, and business operations
• Adept at presenting findings to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Ability to test surveys for accessibility and user-friendliness
• Ability to develop a process for intake of survey requests, development, inventory, and regular reporting
Web Development
• Required experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery
• Required experience with content management systems (i.e., Drupal)
• Required experience with website design software and Adobe Creative Suite (i.e., Dreamweaver, Photoshop)
• Knowledge of WWW browsers (i.e., Internet Explorer, MozillaFirefox, Google Chrome)
• Preferred experience with Google Analytics and creating stats reports for website and videos

Customer Experience
• Required experience with creating awareness about the different types of customers through storytelling, personas, journey maps, and metrics
• Required experience applying customer experience best practices
• Preferred experience participating on inter disciplinary teams to bring customer experience data and strategies into decision making
• Ability to assist with building a data warehouse for tracking the customer experience across all touch points such as website, call center, educational events, and benefits counseling appointments
• Ability to coordinate with Business Intelligence to develop agencys North Star exceptional customer experience score using the Net Promoter Score
• Ability to assist in creating the customer experience roadmap with modernization efforts, processes, and systems
• Ability to collaborate with business units and coordinate resolution of customer pain points
