Job Description Developer: SQL Server, JavaScript, Web Services, XML SOAP C# ASP.net

Job Summary:

Design, code, conduct testing and implement .NET applications to improve client and customer service, and provide on-going technical support.

Essential Job Functions (other duties may be assigned):

Gather business requirements needed to program .NET business applications; prepare detailed specifications; and design, code, debug and document new and existing programs.
Perform technical analysis: test data to ensure quality and conformance to requirements.
Coordinate approval process and assist with development of documentation.
Assist with implementation and training to support new programs.
Analyze and resolve production issues.
Proactively identify programming needs; develop and recommend innovative solutions; and work collaboratively with others.
Assist with resolution of Help Desk tickets and/or other operational issues promptly and professionally.
Demonstrate connectivity to customers by being available, responsive and by developing well-informed timely solutions for customers.
Anticipate customer needs by providing relevant solutions and being forward-thinking.

Non-essential Job Functions (performed on an infrequent basis):

Perform updates to databases.

Minimum Qualifications:

Relevant coursework in Computer Science needed with 3 years programming experience using .NET. Microsoft certifications are beneficial.

Knowledge of C# ASP.NET, Oracle database, MS SQL Server, JavaScript/ASP/JSP, SQL, HTML, SHTML, CSS, Flash, Windows Server 2003
Experience with Web Services, XML and SOAP
JAVA experience a plus
Experience with .NET 2.0 required, 3.5 preferred (most of their time will be spent developing in .Net 3.0 and 3.5)
Knowledge and understanding of relational databases
Verbal and written communication skills
Analytical and problem-solving skills
Currently use the Lean/Agile methodology
