This candidate will function as a SQL Development DBA and SQL developer. This position is primarily responsible for running daily stored procedures, load files, run files and verify data integrity. Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to Responsibilities - Responsible for daily processes, monitoring daily jobs, fixing daily processes/jobs that crash, and server performance tuning - Develop, implement, maintain and improve data processing and reporting that is built around SQL Server 2005/2008. - Creating new automated data flow processes (SSIS) and maintenance windows - Performing server updates, disaster recovery planning, and setting up server database backups - Secure File transfer protocols experience a must -Advanced SQL Script writing, setting up database security, adding new users, and creating database roles and groups - Ability to write stored procedures - SSIS Package development, maintenance, and improvements - Create custom or edit existing SQL code/scripts - Write requirements and documentation for database conversion and/or maintenance procedures - Prefer strong communication skills with non-technical users and technical user -The ability to gather business requirements and create documentation -BI Tool experience (Example: SSIS, SSRS, SSAS and Business Objects) Required Skills - Server migration experiences a MUST. - SSIS, SSRS and SSAS development experience a MUST - Ability to efficiently and accurately manage database stored procedures, server performance tuning, SSIS package development, maintenance/improvements and server Migration - Create custom or edit existing SQL code/scripts - Ability to conduct/take the lead on discussions with end-users and analysts as needed to fully understand and document requirements.
