Job Description : The Senior Data Integration Developer leads and performs complex data design, data modeling, development, and integration. The Sr. Data Integration Developer makes use of a moderate depth of knowledge across business areas and information management disciplines to successfully deliver innovative BI solutions including major data integration, transformation, mapping, modeling, and extraction functions. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Responsible for the development, maintenance and integration of data management practices that support the business operations using required tools, methodologies and languages. Responsible for developing and utilizing improved techniques for designing, developing, testing, and debugging data management practices including assisting with issues. Responsible for understanding business objectives and current business challenges within the supported business area and providing consultative leadership to customers on desired information management enhancements. Responsible for acting as an internal consultant and mentor to more junior staff as well as providing team-level leadership, guidance, and direction. Responsible for analyzing complex business and technical requirements to identify and evaluate alternatives for business intelligence development and integration. Responsible for providing leadership to the Data Integration team through design, estimation, coordination & definition of tasks; will often include articulating and advocating for new technical and non-technical ideas. Responsible for maintaining mid-range (12-24 month) view of technology, industry trends, business needs, and business intelligence applications. Responsible for developing design documentation, best practices, code review standards and deployment readiness requirements for the team Works with Enterprise Architecture Team to ensure team practices and technology stack fit within the organization Complies with all related Federal, State and Industry laws and regulations pertaining to Banking. MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS 6+ years of experience with database platforms, especially MS SQL Server Solid experience with T-SQL Experience with MS SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) Exceptional analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities Strong written and oral communication skills Ability to adapt to changes in assignments Ability to adapt quickly to new technology and business requirements Experience with data warehouse architecture, extract/transform/load (ETL) and business requirements gathering and analysis Awareness of different technologies and technology domains (Data transformation, SQL, DB2, Modeling, Mapping, Data Warehousing, etc.) Bachelors Degree in related system and/or business related field of study (or equivalent work experience) ADDITIONAL PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Knowledge of the Companys business functions and/or the Financial Services industry. Ability to communicate technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences. Excellent verbal and written communications skills to include speaking in front of a group. Strong analytical skills and sound decision-making abilities. Strong customer relations skills (with all levels of internal and external customers).
