Description : This position is responsible for providing technical expertise and services regarding the extract, transfer, and load of data for the Department, including creating SSIS packages for the nightly build of the agencys data warehouse. This includes but is not limited to data collected through enterprise applications such as the WISEid, WISEdata, the Wisconsin State Assessment System, and data reported in WISEdash. WISEdash is powered by PowerSchool Unified Insights (formerly known as Edvantage tool under Hoonuit and Versifit). The position is also responsible for creating EDFacts federal reporting files and fulfilling other state and federal data reporting requirements. The person in this position is responsible for peer testing of the work of their teammates including other ETL developers and dashboard developers. Objectives, priorities, and deadlines are established in consultation with the user, director and division leadership and discussed biweekly during Agile/Scrum sprint retrospective and planning sessions. Required qualifications: • Expert knowledge and use of SQL • Expert knowledge and use of SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services) • Experience working on an Agile/Scrum team (able to work well in a team, but also highly self-motivated) Preferred qualifications: • Experience with K-12 education data sector • Knowledge of Power BI   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
