The Developer participates in the application technical design process and completes estimates and work plans for design, development, implementation, and rollout tasks. The Developer also communicates with the appropriate teams to ensure that assignments are delivered with the highest of quality and in accordance to standards. The Developer strives to continuously improve the software delivery processes and practices. Essential Job Functions: Demonstrated experience in the mechanisms of enterprise software development including source control, repositories, Wikis, continuous integration and the like Demonstrated experience designing and architecting scalable and resilient enterprise software. Demonstrated experience with enterprise integration/ETL solutions such as: SSIS Willingness and availability to be a part of a 24/7 production support team on a rotating basis Minimum Job Requirements: Bachelors degree in IS or related equivalent work experience in an Information Systems position. Strong understanding of the MS SQL Server environment (5+ years of experience), specifically creating queries, views, tables, stored procedures, functions, indexes etc. 5-8 Years of Microsoft SQL SSIS Use the SSIS platform to extract, transform, and load data. Develop, test, integrate, and deploy ETL routines using ETL tools Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Including a proactive disposition towards identifying problems and providing solutions. Ability to complete development projects on time without day to day oversight of the code by management 5 plus years experience in systems analysis, debugging, design or programming and the associated development methodologies. Must be able to work well within a skilled development team. Being able to provide and receive peer review.
