Technical Skills Required • 5+ years experience working as an application data architect / engineer where the majority of time was spent analyzing data requirements, producing data models and implementing those models • 5+ years of MS SQL Server experience • Understanding dependencies of different systems in terms of data and interlinkage of them • 5+ years of ETL and data transformation tools like SSIS, Informatica, Scribe or Talend is a plus. • Experience in developing Data Quality capabilities for Data Stewards. • Experience in developing Data Validation rules within Extract Load & Transform processes. • Demonstrated understanding and implementation of a service oriented architecture and big data. Understand supported transport protocols and messaging capabilities. • Experience with Microsoft Azure cloud based computing services, Big data, NoSQL, RESTful APIs and Security models • Previous healthcare experience in a HIPAA regulated environment is a plus • Experience with Data Modeling and in developing UML diagrams including Use Case diagrams, Class diagrams, Interaction diagrams, State diagrams and Deployment diagrams. • Proficient in tools like Visual Studio, VSTS (Visual Studio Team Services), TFS (Team Foundation Server)/Azure DevOps. • Familiarity with Agile methodology for project • Experience of working with teams across other geographies in onshore/offshore model • Optional/Good to Have: o Understanding of Non-Relational databases o Knowledge of Big Data and Hadoop ecosystem – HDFS, Hive, Pig etc. Functional Skills Required • Strong domain knowledge of Healthcare specially Payer domain • Very good understanding of Membership, Claims, Pharmacy orders • Ability to adapt quickly to an existing, complex environment and learn new concepts / software technologies as needs arise • Detail oriented and organized with an ability to meet deadlines • Ability to help foster teamwork and knowledge sharing to complete key tasks. • Excellent problem solving skills. • Ability to effectively communicate with users of diverse background and skill levels. • Strong time management skills including multi-tasking in fast-paced development environments while keeping the attention to details, high standards for quality   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
