Data Center Core Network Design, Implementation & Support: All DC Network WAN (MPLS, EVC, Wave) Connectivity, Load Balancing, Firewall Services, IPS/IDS Services (Intrusion Prevention/Detection), Route/Switch Services (7k, 5k, 2k, ACI), Wireless LAN Controller Infrastructure, DHCP, External DNS, Packet Shaping, Authentication Services, Data Center Capacity Planning, Data Center Hardware Design & Specification, Data Center Hardware Recommendation for Budgeting, Application performance troubleshooting, Proof of Concept evaluation & long term strategic planning Data Center Enterprise edge design, Implementation & Support: Internet Edge, Site to Site VPN, Extranet, DMZ, SSL VPN, WAN Connectivity / Data Center IP Space - Assignment, Management & Administration: Currently centralized while IP Overlap Remediation is completed / Network Configuration Standards & Documentation: Network Standards documentation upkeep – (Diagrams & Configuration best practices), Validation & testing of designs, Documentation of Deployed Infrastructure, Lab Environments Wide Area Network Design: Capacity Planning, Quality of Service, WAN Routing, Data Center WAN Configuration, NIS Team Lead input for Client locations System Wireless Network Design & Planning: Network Design & Architecture, LAN Controller Configuration & Standards, Device Troubleshooting Escalation, Client Performance Testing & New Device Evaluation, Surveying Administration & Configuration of Network Management Toolsets: Network & Application Monitoring, Application Performance Monitoring, Enterprise Syslog, QoS, Fault Monitoring, Administration & Management Responsible for providing support and availability in a timely manner to review all NIS requests, Responsible for thoroughly reviewing all submitted designs and configurations, implementation methodologies, standards adherence and technology training opportunities for NIS personnel 3rd level Escalation Support & On-call responsibilities: Respond & Support escalations from NOC Tier 1 and NIS Tier2, High Severity Firewall & Data Center Incidents: Currently an 8-week rotation Preferred Qualifications: CCNA preferred, work experience is key Understanding of the Lifecycle management process Basic Qualifications: Must be able to attend training during morning shift for first few weeks before beginning regular shift hours Shift hours - 4pm to 12:30 am CST, 12:30 AM to 9 AM CST Must be available to be on Call Saturday & Sunday Must have reliable transportation to travel to numerous locations Min 5 years of Networking experience (Cisco routing & switching experience, layer work configuration, software upgrades, mapping of APIs, break-fix work) Understanding/working knowledge of OSI Module Experience with a ticketing system (ServiceNow preferred but experience with any ticketing system will do) Experience with Solarwinds, Dynamic Arp inspection Experince with DHCP & Wireless Cisco Infrastructure experience Experience dealing with Carriers – mobile Experience documenting procedures using Cisco Prime or Visio   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
