Description Payments and financial technology are core to Uber. They enable riders to pay and drivers to get paid. Beyond payment acceptance, there is a large opportunity to create new payment experiences that drive value to the Uber ecosystem; through efficiency increases, discounts, or entirely new revenue streams. Our team is currently focused on building Ubers digital currency. Weve used it to unlock use cases such as gift cards and payment rewards, including the Amex Platinum $200 annual benefit. We also work with issuing Banks to create cobrand card products such as the Uber Visa Card.
