Description: Rate: commensurate with experience Duration: 5 month contract, with possibility of extension into 2020 Responsibilities In this role you will be a team member working within an agile development team creating Salesforce applications and solutions that mesh with our architectural guidelines and best-practices. Partner with other team members to help deliver innovative solutions to our business users through requirements gathering, technical design, development, quality assurance, and occasional prototyping or experimentation. Provide Salesforce application expertise and representation to internal business partners and peers on an in-flight project to replace legacy systems/platforms. Qualifications Proven Salesforce developer skills are required, with the strongest candidates able to effectively navigate an appropriate balance of configuration and code on the Lightning platform. Bachelors degree in a computer-related field. Strong experience in Salesforce coding and configuration required. Advanced planning, organization, problem-solving, analytical, time-management, decision-making, and communication skills required, as well as solid leadership and basic presentation skills. Must be able to effectively communicate technical plans, strategies, and designs to all levels of the company as it relates to your work on the Salesforce platform. Must be able to maintain a high degree of accuracy and confidentiality with this role. Candidates with Salesforce Developer and/or Administrator certifications will be preferred, with an emphasis on Service Cloud capabilities. System integrations experience a plus. Basic knowledge of insurance and financial services products preferred, along with a basic knowledge of business unit applications. Strongest candidates will bring proficiency with database applications, distributed, and/or web programming languages.
