Desirable Qualifications: • Bachelors degree • At least 2 years of data engineering experience • At least 1 year of experience working with big data technologies including Spark, Cassandra, Hadoop, PostgreSQL, Redshift, or MongoDB • At least 1 year of experience in Java, Scala, Python, or SQL · Functional use with Python / R in Jupyter Notebooks o Data Science experience a plus o Experience with Watson Studio Local a plus, but not required · Data Engineering and Hands on Development o Ideally, experience with Metadata Driven approaches or Flow Based data movement tools o Capable and eager to learn data processing tools and methods o Apache Nifi experience a plus · System Engineering Skills, such as Linux/Unix Scripting · Other Nice to Have, but not required: o Kubernetes / Dockers o Dev Ops and/or Data Ops o Cloud data processing approaches and experience o Data Governance/Data Management background   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
