The Application Security Officer will: Grant, maintain and monitor application, data, and content access privileges for the specified program(s) Maintain a knowledge base of current application security standards and best practices Conduct accurate evaluations of required security levels and enforces proper access procedures Serve as a liaison and provide technical input regarding security practices between technical and non-technical project teams Coordinate and provide regular summary reports for program management, as requested Ensure all user roles are relevant and issued based on defined security procedures Prepare regularly scheduled data access audits for all user bases (i.e. permanent, contract, and temporary staff) Set up network and badge access for all user bases Monitor transfers and terminated staff in order to change and disable access as appropriate. Monitor user access to application and file servers in accordance with safeguarding requirements Ensure all contract requirements regarding application security are met and maintain documentation to prove compliance (i.e. compliance matrix) Develop knowledge and expertise in various applications supported or monitored by the Security Program roles Assist in contributing to Application Security documentation Communicate with various levels of staff to provide a regular status regarding Application Security projects and activities Ensure compliance with Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) data access standards Demonstrate commitment to providing customer-focused quality service Perform other duties as deemed relevant based upon experience to fulfill customer needs Required Experience Three (3) or more years of demonstrated experience in an Application, Systems, and/or Network Security role At least one (1) year experience as a lead Application Security Officer Expertise in the installation, configuration and administration of IBM Tivoli Security Platform to provide Identity Management (TIM), Partner Federation (TFIM), Access Control (TAM) Knowledge of common Information Security Management frameworks (i.e. ISO, NIST) Ability to obtain and maintain technical knowledge in implementing data protection and integrity controls, operating systems and network security controls, authentication controls and security protocols Knowledge of general application security APIs and Protocols (i.e. CryptoAPI, Kerberos, SSL/TLS, SAML, S/MIME and PKCS) Preferred Experience Experience with intrusion detection systems Healthcare industry background Experience working in an SOA framework Strong written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated ability to communicate at different levels of the organization Ability to interpret and communicate security policies, procedures and technical requirements Possess an Aptitude for Risk Management, Identification, Controls and Mitigations Critical Skills Expertise in IBM Tivoli Security Platform to provide Identity Management (TIM), Partner Federation (TFIM), Access Control (TAM) Ability to evaluate applications for appropriate and effective use of security controls Familiar with web application security tools and techniques such as source coded analysis, vulnerability scanners and manual testing techniques Able to provide expertise on application security controls Fa   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
