Contract has a strong chance to extend past 6 months. Description: This is a position in Quality Assurance responsible for testing, analyzing, validating public records data. This position works with development/ project management/ product management/compliance and back office to enhance quality and process standards and to plan and execute effective and efficient test approaches to accomplish on-time and efficient delivery of high quality data and software products. Education/Experience: • 5-7 years of experience in Quality Assurance or Quality Test Engineering • BS degree with computer science, quality assurance, or engineering emphasis or equivalent preferred • Experience with Java based automated functional testing frameworks such as Selenium, Webdriver, and POM. Selenium expertise is strongly preferred. • Experience in different automation frameworks such as Data driven, Keyword driven and hybrid framework • Solid experience in developing selenium frameworks from scratch using Java and Selenium WebDriver is strongly preferred • Experience in Maven, Eclipse, Jenkins • Experience working on applications with multi-tier architecture (Required) • Knowledge of databases and SQL • XML, SOAP WebServices Testing • Ability to work in a complex and ever changing environment • Working knowledge of defect tracking tools such as Jira and Zephyr Responsibility level: • Exercises independent judgment with minimal direction from supervisor Skills: • Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skills (Required) • Solid experience in developing selenium frameworks from scratch using Java and Selenium WebDriver is strongly preferred • Strong ability to work independently and manage ones time (Required) • Strong mentoring skills necessary to provide support and constructive performance feedback (Required) • Strong knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology (Required) • Strong knowledge of Web Application testing • Strong knowledge of Web Services testing • Strong knowledge of Data testing Major Job Duties and Responsibilities: • Review and approve test plans, scenarios, scripts or procedures • Review and approve testing programs that addresses areas such as database impacts, software scenarios, or usability • Develop and execute automated testing for assigned projects to successfully and consistently enable delivery of high-quality software products and services on time, on budget, and to specification • Review documentation of software defects and assign software developers to investigate and resolve the issue • Review and approve test schedules or strategies in accordance with project scope or delivery dates • Review software documentation to ensure technical accuracy, compliance or completeness or to mitigate risks • Participate in product design reviews to provide input on functional requirements, product designs, schedules, or potential problems • All other duties as assigned   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
