We have a project with our client in Albany, NY that requires an Oracle Forms Developer Day-to-Day Tasks include, but not limited to: Setting up secure file transfer protocols (SFTPs) between organizations Proposing modifications or additions to existing database structures for review/approval Implement approved and scheduled modifications to database structures using various tools such as TOAD and SQL Developer following established Change Management protocols. Conduct data model reviews as necessary with developers & technical lead Coordinates manage and document analysis of court data with agency and ITS technical team to ensure data needs are met, and requirements and specifications related to the court data are clearly defined, documented, and approved. Develop, debug, and maintain Unix shell scripts and cron tasks Design, develop, test, document, implement and maintain automated processes to import, transform (if required), store (as necessary), and display court data in the application. Participate in team meetings to determine software application needs and implement the same into a functional design Coordinate with technical lead to analyze business requirements, develop technical specifications, and design application enhancements. Design, develop, test, document, deploy and maintain application user interface enhancements Develop and implement comprehensive documentation & test plans for processes and application interfaces to ensure requirements are met and perform efficiently and as intended Troubleshoot and diagnose issues related to the data integration, processes, and application presentation. Document & submit ITSM tickets to support system migration & implementation. Knowledge share with application team Preferred Qualifications: A Bachelors degree with a minimum of 4 years of professional experience in a substance use disorder, health, or mental health area as described below. A Masters degree or J.D. with 3 years of noted professional experience; or a doctorate with 2 years of noted professional experience. Designing, developing, testing, and deploying Java web applications using Oracle JDeveloper 10g or higher Designing, developing, testing, and deploying Java web applications using Oracle ADF framework and Business Components Database programming, object creation and tuning for performance with Oracle 10g or higher Oracle PL/SQL development utilizing J Developer, Toad and/or Oracle SQL Developer Writing, debugging, tuning, and maintaining complex PL/SQL and stored procedures. SQL scripts/batch jobs Translating user requirements and processes into application designs that align with business requirements and adhere to established application development standards Experience in a substance use disorder, health, or mental health arena is a plus. Demonstrated experience implementing projects of similar size and complexity is desirable, including examples of projects and references who can speak to the success of those projects.
