S/he will lead the coordination of the 2019-2020 congress planning for Worldwide Medical. The individual will work closely with cross functional planning teams across several therapeutic areas to gather congress information to assist decision making and prepare strategic and tactical plans. The manager will partner to identify tactics and ensure alignment, consistency, and timely completion across all activities. S/he will lead meetings, keep internal tools and trackers up to date with relevant information, manage individual workload, prioritize tasks and alert Scientific Partnership team to potential risks or concerns and support appropriate triage. This role will also align with local and regional congress contacts as requested. S/he will participate on special projects and assignments as needed. Skills Required: Project management expert Experience in trade show/congress planning is ideal Bachelors. Masters or above a plus but not needed. Any type of project management certification is also a plus. We do not need a scientist for this role. No specific software experience needed, Sharepoint a plus Additional Expectations: Effectively Communicates––Recognizes when and if there is a need to escalate; communicates effectively through project lifecycle. Executes and Drives to Completion––Ensures own activities tied to critical path are executed in a timely manner.
