Submission Deadline: 2/20/2022 5:00 PM EST Start Date: End Date : 6/30/2022 Client: Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) Description: Scope of Services This resource will primarily be tasked with supporting the Information Security Management Office in providing customer support for cybersecurity-related issues of low to medium complexity. This position is not involved in desktop support, such as software installation, but instead focuses heavily on the cybersecurity impacts of end users. This position involves a lot of soft skills such as customer interaction and technical writing; but those interactions and tasks are supported by the underlying technical knowledge. Tasks include, but are not limited to the following: 1. Reviewing and responding to customer reports of low-level cybersecurity incidents (such as SPAM, password sharing and suspicious software). 2. Documenting and distributing mid-level cybersecurity incidents to the appropriate staff for review and resolution. 3. Monitoring Service Desk queue and resolves support tickets as assigned. Ensuring all Service Level Agreements are met in a timely manner. Documenting work performed and resolution(s). 4. Providing cybersecurity awareness tips and instruction to customers in the process of responding to cybersecurity incidents. 5. Writing short (1-2 paragraph) cybersecurity awareness articles for publication for a cybersecurity blog available to FDOT staff. Articles are needed at least weekly. FDOT has sources of awareness articles that can be used for developing this content. 6. Writing a more detailed (3-4 paragraph) cybersecurity-related article quarterly for the Department wide Transportation Technology newsletter. 7. Participating in specialty workgroups meant to collaborate and advance cybersecurity protections within the Department. Complete assignments generated from the workgroups. 8. Participating in technical projects or task groups with an eye on cybersecurity including projects such as Local Administrator Access Reviews, MFA for Service Accounts, and OneDrive migration. 9. Support the Risk Assessment/System Security Plan process which includes granting access to the SharePoint site, providing Security Plan templates, keeping track of assessment status, interaction with Project Managers on key milestones, and preliminary/QA review of submitted assessments. 10. Sharing information and receives feedback from other information Security and Office of Information Technology (OIT) staff as appropriate. 11. Generating and maintaining thorough technical documentation when required for projects and assignments. 12. Performs other duties assigned. 5 Education Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or another related field.
